From June 25, the Singapore-based Jetstar carrier will operate two weekly flights between Singapore and Broome in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. According to Jetstar, the routew will be operated during Brome's dry season.
“This new route, combined with our low fares, underscores our commitment to providing customers with a diverse range of destinations and incredible travel experiences,” said John Simeone, CEO, Jetstar Asia.
The new route will offer travelers from the northwest region of Australia a direct air link to Singapore, and onward connections via Jetstar to destinations such as Bali, Bangkok, and Okinawa.
Jetstar Asia will be the sole carrier offering flights between the two cities and bring its network up to 16 destinations. The new flight will also be the lone international route from Broome.
The new service will be an addition to the Jetstar Group's flights to Australia from Singapore, where flights are operated to Melbourne with Jetstar Airways.
